Immigration Celebration

Immigration Celebration is a multi-part series of exhibits that focus on what immigrants ADD to our culture. With all the focus on immigration, “the WALL,” Trump’s zero-tolerance policy, hundreds of un-named migrants dying as they attempt to cross the border, and the unthinkable separation of families, this series addresses how immigrant artists are contributing to - and “reforming” the LA art world.

Part 1 – Opening February 23, 2019, 7-10 PM - Abstraction – the Power to Move

Featuring 7 artists whose work and life experiences have led them to create abstract works of beauty and power, emotion and intensity, showing how art can have the power to move you, emotionally, to a different state of mind.

Featured Artists: Clara Berta ( Hungary), Miguel Osuna Mexico), Seda Saar, ( Iran) Laurent Proneur (France) , Olympio ( Togo West Africa), Bert Esenherz ( Germany), Campbell Laird (Tasmania), and Matteo (Canada).
