I am an art entrepreneur involved in many aspects of the art world - all to facilitate the flow of art!

As a fine art curator, I have curated multiple galleries, produced many independent projects, charity exhibits, and special pop-up art events, including major exhibits at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, the LA Convention Center, Stagecoach Country Music and Art Festival, the Reef at LA Mart, and numerous other private and public events. My charity exhibits have benefited Art Share LA, Portraits of the Fallen Memorial, Christian Health Centers, Cycle of Lives Cancer Research, and Free Arts for Abused Children. I currently have an on-line gallery, where i carefully curate an exciting variety of contemporary artwork in all genres. Please check it out at ArtExcellence.

As a fine art dealer, I use my database of over 400 artists to find art for collectors, designers, and  institutional buyers - offering presentations of options to match any need, budget, or style.

As an art marketing and communications consultant, I handle business development and outreach, and implement marketing, PR and social media strategies for artists, galleries, art organizations, and non-profits.

Backstory

For nearly two decades I have been involved in the some aspect of the art world – from independent curator to private art advisor, handled marketing/PR and social media for artists and art organizations, staged homes and commercial properties, written grants and served on Executive Boards. My fascination with the local art scene and friendships with many downtown artists prompted me to open a gallery in 2006 in the center of Downtown LA on Gallery Row while it was still a controversial area. As the galleries began multiplying and the crowds grew, so did my love and knowledge of the exploding Los Angeles contemporary art scene. After selling and marketing art for over a decade and curating more than 80 exhibits, I have a vast knowledge and database of local artists, collectors, gallery owners and press, thus making me a valuable consultant for anyone involved in the business of fine art.

I am happiest when surrounded by art and artistsI usually attend multiple gallery openings every weekend, always looking for the next rising star, or for a hot new gallery to write about. My art coverage has included a regular column for DowntownLALife.com called “Daley’s Weekly,” where I covered art events featured in the burgeoning downtown art neighborhoods, writing artist profiles for the regional Fabrik Magazine, providing event coverage and artist interviews for CartwheelArt.com, and art editorials for the international publication Art Voices. I currently write 2 profiles a month for the international online art media outlet ArtReportToday.
