Arts District Residents & Lovers

Guest Curator, Angel City Brewery Gallery, May 2018

For this exhibit I was commissioned by Art Share LA who manages the Angel City gallery space to create a show about the neighborhood. This exhibit featured some of the remaining visual artists residing in the Arts District, as well as a few who had been forced out due to gentrification, rising rents, and the lack of affordable studio space. I was inspired to exhibit these artists whose love for the area motivated them to create works that featured its charm, creativity, energy and grit.
